linkert or s.s.

hi all, like to put a linkert on my 57 pan it has as s.s. on it now, its hard to start when hot. so the better is linker or s.s. for a pan ? how is the linkert on hot starts ? i emailed Cotten on linkert . thx all

I believe that there are no bad designs of carburetors.
Some are over-complicated, and some are awkward and ugly, but they should all start easily.

If your S&S carburetor is in order, then throwing a Linkert at the problem won't solve much, because it probably isn't the carburetor.
Are you running solids with aluminum pushrods? Are they tight enough?
Are you certain of perfect timing?
Have you pressuretested for vacuum leaks, including the pan cover screws over each intake port?

I have no doubt you will someday desire to run a Linkert anyway, but lets get to the bottom of the problem first.

yes Cotten i have a m74b and manifold. i taken the bowl off yeserday its looks good . i do'nt know if its the wrong manifold ? i have to get the #
