Hi
I need a hose adaptor for a 1940-1965 fuel valve - can anyone tell me the correct thread and maybe guide me to where I can buy this hose adaptor?
I bought a hose adapter kit from Colony with a 1/2"-24 thread hose adaptor (see picture below), that I thought would fit - but it doesn't.

The valve you show is '50 up. The '40-'49 version is a flare fitting type. There are two distinctly different adapters for the two types.

62352-41 is the 42 to 49 fuel line, flare style.
62352-50 is the 50 and up fuel line
JP has original fuel lines.
The adapter pictured looks like 3/8" fuel line, not original and borderline cobble.
Any auto parts store has 3/8" fuel line and hose clamps.

It's the hose adaptor (marked with yellow on the picture below) I need.
I use rubber hoses and a CV carburator, so the original fuel line won't help.
My problem is to find the correct hose adaptor, that will fit my fuel valve.

58,
with a little creative plumbing you can adapt a steel line and filter to a CV. here is what i did before i found a linkert and converted back to original carb.
it did run nice!

The Colony part number for the shut off and right tank adapter kit is 7807-3. The number for the fitting on the carb is 7158-2.
