Hello together!
I am looking for a set of new brake-hoses for the rear drum-brake of my 1961 FLH.
I only could find the Part# 42300-63 in the partsbook , but there is only one piece.
Mine seems to be made of 2 ?
Are they similar?
By the way I can´t find the item anywhere, not even J.W. Boon has it in stock.
Has anybody an idea where to get those hoses ?
Maybe a hose from a car will fit ?
I don´t want to put a steel-flex on because I want her to be like original.
Has anyone out there the idea to solve my problem?
Thanks for any help in advance !!
Cheers
Joerg

The part number for the 58-62 hose is 42300-58. The -58 and -63 hoses are similar but don't interchange.

Tanks for the part#.
You wrote they are similar but not interchangeable (58+/63+).
Why?
There are some hoses in ebay.
Seems they are from V-Twin ....
One of those have DOT an is from Semperit and is $49 plus.
Is this worth the money?
Cheers

Go by the correct part number , and order one from a reputable source. You might try old dude, just give them the OE part number. I don't think they are exactly as the originals , but unless you hold them side by side, not great. It's what's available .
