ANybody got a photo of a properly-installed intake valve oiler? The manual only says to make sure it is "3/32" fronm the rocker arm? but doesn;t say in which direction......

It'll only go on one way. The dripper should be above the valve stem/rocker arm. As far as how much clearance ya need, as long as the rocker arm doesn't hit the oiler on its way up, you should be cool. A very large percentage of panheads out there aren't runnin em. In theory, they were probably a good idea. In reality I'm not so sure. I guess they probably couldn't hurt....bosheff

Not exactly the angle you are looking for.......may give a rough idea

My Pan also didn't have them installed when I first got the bike ..........

KB65 - If you haven't put it back together yet you might want to change out those 2 non-locking nuts for a couple lockers. And check the other head & see what it has up there. Hate to have one of those come loose, it wouldn't be good.
