Sell them and buy oiler heads.
Modification is not easy and results in damaged original parts.

I need to reword this question...I know about drilling the heads,I'm not interested in that,Has anyone done or had a set of OS oiler cases that were modified to run early heads...just askin

I think the first response is the best!--However if you do use those heads ,It would be better to get the correct barrels & you would have to drill the case for return oil.It is far wiser to get the correct heads!,But I have seen later cases with early heads just for the less fin on them to have clearence for a Magneto.You have 2-GREAT pieces!--Early heads & late pan cases!--The cheaper route is obvious-(outside oilers!-You can use your early heads as swap & very little cash,Depending on condition.).If you need to know everything in completing your endeavor-(K-BASE)-has everything you need to know.To much to type here for me.Read both top-ends & bottom-ends.---Respectfuly---RICHIE
