This seat is like brand new and the vinyl is with out a tear or scratch and i would like to know what years it was available from a Harley dealership?
The under side shows the yellow letters from Harley but are very unreadable.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Mike

I believe that skirt style with the vinyl top appeared in '57, but the hand rail appeared like that first showed up in'58. Michael at Worsham Castle could tell you all about it. He might see it here as well and comment. The seats changed around '60 to only the super soft type with more padding so that one would likely only have been available as an accessory or replacement. It is a beauty, what are your plans for it?

An excellent thread..!! I have a seat identical to that---- it came with my '59 pan/knuck when I bought it in 1974. Had the seat ever since, still in great shape. I always thought it was original to a '59, but never was sure...! Not my thread here, sorry, but thank-you Robbie for that information..!
