seat posts
Can anyone tell me if a 45" seat post is the same overall length as a big twin seat post??

I just whent through this. The threaded rod on a 45 is 3/4 " shorter than the big twin. Whats even more intresting is that the aftermarket rod is a fit all. They split the diffrance 3/8". The 45 is 1" in dia were the BT is 1.3/16 on the post. Bob L

also there are 2 different 45 seat posts for military applications. i assume they are made for each style seat T long and short.
