HOW TO REMOVE SEAT POST ASSY.

HI GUYS
HOW DO YOU REMOVE SEAT POST ASSY. WHEN TURNING UNDERNEATH NUT WHOLE ASSY. TURNS. AM I MISSING SOMETHING.

The seat post is not registered into the slot in the bottom of the seat post tube, for whatever reason. The nut should just turn off. Try sitting on the seat while someone else loosens the nut. Or, an impact wrench will weasel it off.
