G is the model designator for a Servi-Car, if that helps.

Please describe where you are finding this number, or better yet photograph it. I suspect you have aftermarket tanks. No model designation is stamped into the tanks. And 45/Servi-Car tanks are so obviously different than Big Twin there is no mistaking one for the other.

Those are late model 5 Gallon type tanks, not even remotely what they are advertised as, and not worth half of the selling price. Hope you didn't buy them....
Oh, and if you look at his other auctions, the G54 is merely his way of tracking the stuff he has for sale.

Rubone, if you say they are late model tanks what year do you assume them to be?
Emblem mounting plates look like factory installed (riveted) but the tanks don't
have the indentation where the plates mount, doesn't make sense.
I suppose I can raise hell with Paypal for misrepresentation. I'm not building a
OEM bike so if I can make them look right and mounted properly I'll use them.
Thanks very much for your input!

Those tanks look nothing like '62 tanks. Besides the lack of indentation they are 5 Gallon capacity, a type that did not exist then. The bent lower connecting line fittings place them in the early '80s and newer. The emblem mounts are not riveted on. Those are held in place by double back tape! Originals are welded.
Following is a picture of a real '62 tank.

Next time try a few searches and use the knowledge base. This picture has been on here for several years since I first posted it.
And don't be too hard on yourself, everyone has been there...
