Re: Oil tank sealing
I thought about it but then I thought no. The oil is hot and the cream could break loose in the tank and plug the oil feed line. then the motor is ruined. I bought a nice original looking aftermarket tank that is just fine and preserved my investment in the motor.

Re: Oil tank sealing
was thinking about that myself,,,about the oil being hot that is.
Will get in touch with the manufacturer and see what temp the Kreem will stand.(I know at least one dude up here in Maine that has sealed his tank)
As you say ..its a lot cheaper to buy a new tank, than have your motor crap out......
Cant believe no one else has thought of this ...or has a horror story of someone who didi! Haggis.

Re: Oil tank sealing
I think if you kreem coat the inside of your oil tank you will hurt the heat transfer to the outside. Just like chroming the tank is not such a good idea.
