Frame Original or Repo ?

#1

Post by mcraeav »

Is there a way to tell if my frame is original or a reproduction on my 62?

Casting numbers in many places, many end with -58, etc.
Not many repro swing-arm frames out there.

I know my swing arm has a casting number ending with -58 but I haven't noticed any numbers on the frame itself?

Give us pictures of the frame and closeup of the castings, if they're clean it should be easy to tell.

Cleaned up my right side frame just in front of the swing arm and did find a -58 number. Thanks for the info.
