Chain Guard repair
Does anyone have a fix for the rear chain guard stud or know of anyone who makes a replacement stud. My threads are stripped / gone from stripping chrome. 1952 panhead

Re: Chain Guard repair
With all you expert machinists and craftsmen out there you would think someone would be able to manufacture a replacement chain guard stud, cripes you all make everything else.

The threads are in poor shape due to removing chrome. The length is ok but hardly any thread material left. Like a skinny stud with a hole in the end for the cotter pin.

Re: Chain Guard repair
Why not dress down the stud, thread for a smaller size, them make a hollow, threaded inside-and out stud to screw on over it?
