Jiffy Stand Assembly

#1

Post by VintageTwin »

It's easiest to assemble the jiffy stand before trying to install it on the frame. Note spring hook placement and locking tab pointed forward. Needs to go as shown or it won't go. The bottom left 9/16" nut needs to be ground down to jam-nut thinness in order to have the nut fit between the close quarters of the frames forward control mount tab. I primered and painted the raw side of the ground-off jam nut before it was installed.
