Re: Knuckle frame conversion
I use to have pan engine in Knuck/Flatheadframe,I was very busy and eager to get on the road. So converting was made with some violence and welding torch.
Problem was that there is not enough space for rearhead and valvecover.Rough solution was to heat frame and punch some dents to tubes.
After couple of trys engine did fit in to frame, allthough very tightly. The dents were quit deep, approx 15mm in seatpost tube and 10mm above the valve tin..
Off course there is better ways.I dont recommend mine under most circumstances.Frame was already modified.
Now it is almost stock again.I'm goin to put UL-stroker into it for next summer.

Sacrilege!!!!! God Will Punish You for That!!! Don't do it!!
Rather than risk the wrath of many.....Why don't you trade with me? I'll send you a brand new aftermarket frame in exchange for your beat-up worn out old knuckle frame.
Aloha...Mike
If its not too f'cked up already.

Number 1 and 2 are both Big Twin Flatheads, the engine number will tell you more. UH or ULH is 80CI, U or UL is 74 CI.
Picture number 3 is H-D Big Twin Transmission.
Picture 4 is Indian.
