Is there any where I can see all the frame thread sizes on 1963 swing arm frame?

Re: Frame thread sizes?
I had frame painted and was going to run taps through all the holes. I have looked all over for that info. Thank you.

Re: Frame thread sizes?
Make sure to run a thread chaser, not a tap. There is a difference between the two, and you can buy them at specialty tool places. A tap may very well remove material unnecessarily then you're stuck with a boogered hole.

Excellent advice, I was going to say the same thing.Gotnoclass wrote:Make sure to run a thread chaser, not a tap. There is a difference between the two, and you can buy them at specialty tool places. A tap may very well remove material unnecessarily then you're stuck with a boogered hole.

I picked up a nice set several years ago from Mac Tools; they cover the most popular sizes and have 'male and female'. (Instead of saying 'tap' and 'die'.)

Re: Frame thread sizes?
Just got my thread chasers, thanks for the advice. Would you know the the length of bolts in motor mounts & trans mount?
