Upper seat post casting
Howdy,
I'm looking for a upper seat post casting that the post goes through so I can have a wishbone frame restored.
Not having too much luck.....
I understand that they are not being reproduced anymore. Can anyone steer me in the right direction or have one laying around that they can live without??
Thanks Gentlemen,
Jim

Re: Upper seat post casting
Steve at raceframe is still experiencing ross river fever and is not selling frame parts.
Steve has been a big help to me in the past and I hope he recovers, I also need frame parts.
In the mean time Vtwin has stopped selling frame parts since July 2013 for reasons unknown, they are still selling reporduction frames and I am about to the point of buying one and disassembling for parts.

Perhaps these people could help you out with frame parts http://vgmotorcycle.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
They are in Germany. I have no experience of their work but German standards are pretty high. Maybe one of our European members knows of them.

Ooops, sorry for that Panhead. I think I saw them at Veterama this year and just assumed they were German.

Re: Upper seat post casting
Thanks for all of the help guys.
I did get in touch with a gentleman named Lou at Raceframe and he said they were currently out of stock on the seat post clusters but they should have some made some time before winter.
