Gents,
Was the tool box spacer left parkerized, or was it painted to match toolbox or fender? Also, my fender was all stress cracked around the spacer hole, It's now welded and smooth again. I need to drill a new hole, and I was wondering if anyone had a loose fender to see if it's oversize from the bolt?
Thanks and Happy New Year
Gregg

Re: tool box spacer
It is gone Gregg.Sorry for the double post. Can duplicate be removed?
Before trying to drill the hole it is best to dry fit the fender and toolbox to the frame and drill it accordingly. There is a certain amount of variation and not a specific location.

Re: tool box spacer
Thanks guys
I dry fitted the fender and toolbox yesterday and marked the fender, but wasn't sure if the hole was oversized to help avoid future stress cracks. I guess it's all tightened up anyway so it doesn't matter. BTW, if anyone is looking for correct mounting toolbox screws and washers, Old Dudes got em.
Best
