Steering dampener on wishbone

Description: Anyone have a wishbone with one intact that could possibly measure the hight off the top of the steering head?

For some reason a previous owner removed the pin tower that anchors the damper on my 51. before I get it painted I would like to weld on a new one. Anyone have a wishbone with one intact that could possibly measure the hight off the top of the steering head? I could re-assemble with all the assosiated parts but dont want to be installing and removing the cups if I dont have to. Plus I dont have the dampener yet .Thanks, Mike

The pin is 7/8" above the shoulder of the boss, the distance from the steering head to the top of the pin is 1 5/8" on my wishbone frame.
