BDL belt drive

#1

Post by Abes »

Getting ready to install a BDL 11MM primary belt drive in my 64 pan. Anyone else that is running one of these change the primary bearing to an R-16 sealed bearing? And what bearing are they talking about? I was under the impression that this unit would bolt right in and I could use the stock clutch.

Thanks for the info.

hello
Do you have a aluminum inner primary? The instructions BDL sent cover many models and years, so you have to pick out what pages and sections apply to you. you should be able to use your hub that you have.
make sure engine and tranny are inline with each other or belt will wonder all over.

hello,
when you put it in you know where to come to if you have problems, as there are many of the been there and had the same problem posts. So we can help each other keep the old stuff going.you also can read some of the things that have been posted on the belt drive post a few places down.
