Hi guys,

I'm a little unsure as to where to measure the clutch spring preload.

Is the red line or the green one?

Thanx,

Hello Henrik,
You have an after market aluminum pressure plate, so the standard measurement won't apply. I think everyone will agree that if you can kick it over several times without any slippage , then that's fine for running. Having said that, take a Sharpie like marker and draw corresponding lines on your outer shell and the pressure plate so they line up. Adjust nuts just enough until you can kick it several times through and the lines stay matched up. Remember an even pressure across all three studs is desirable, and coil bind is too tight. You may have to readjust if this assembly is not broke in with a few miles and what ever oil you would normally get on the assembly.I see a belt, I guess oil wont be an issue for you.
