Clutch spring question

#1

Post by jeffwest5599 »

Finally got the clutch all good. I have a question that may seem stupid but I cannot seem to find the answer anywhere, even in my manual. I have new clutch plates (friction and steel) and they are slipping from time to time and dragging a little bit (bike is like clutch engaged when driving) . Do I loosen or tighten the clutch springs to fix this. It has the three fingers with the nuts. Thanks.

Give them another turn tighter, if the clutch slips when kick starting she's to loose...Mike
