I was wondering if anybody every had the clutch heat up tp were it made your kicking real spongee put when it cool down it go back to normal what would cause this bad clutch disc

Sometimes the kicker feels spongee because the motor is turning backwards between kicks and your not really getting through a full forward turn cycle with the motor. If you have a closed primary and stock timer, pop the timer cover off when it is happening and see if the timer floats backwards when you realease the kicker pedal. Just a thought.
