Tank shift

This might be a dumb question but here it is.

I have been only using my rocker clutch to shift tranny in gear when I am at a stand still. When I am cruising down the road I just lower my rpm's and shift it into the next gear. I have been using the rocker when down shifting. Am I running the risk of messing up my trany doing this?

If the rpms are correctly matching the speed of the rear wheel, and the tranny is not grinding or banging when going into gear, then No, it is not bad on the tranny. I have always done it that way on everything that I drive and have driven. I also do it when I downshift--It just takes more practice.
Just have to remember that every time it bangs or grinds, there is cumulative damage.
