Description: My 32E is whining like a spoiled brat

Hi All

My 32E is whining like a spoiled brat. I think the problem is that I reinstalled it after some engine work with a thinner gasket than before. I like to hear from others that have had the same problem and their cures.

Sounds like you need to shim it. Don't have the manual in front of me, but to do it properly you need to pull the cam cover to check the spacing, then use shims (paper works in a pinch, but metal is better) to space it correctly, then tighten down the strap and re-check. Good luck...
