Little issue here, I haven't torn into it yet, just thought I'd get some opinions before I opened it up...
Was out cruisin today when all of a sudden I couln't grab second gear without some struggle and downshifting. basically had to fight the shifter to get it to move up, I mean froze up, like a rock, wouldn't budge without some serious manipulation... Once I got it into second, the rest of the gears were a breeze and it downshifted normally.... This trans has always been smooth as silk so I'm looking for some things to look for.. Early 4 speed, stock gears/mouse trap... Thanks for anything... I was in it not long ago to replace the ratchet gasket and everything looked in perfectly runable condition and ran fine up until today...

Reckon I'll just yank it and see what I find... Hopefully there's something obvious I overlooked the last time..
