Re: COKER TIRES?
I've heard good and bad things about them, but I've been using them for years without any complaints. I can't really speak about how many miles there good for though, but hey some of the guys ran them on the last cannonball so they must not be to bad.

Re: COKER TIRES?
My rear tire went about 7000 miles, front tire is still good.
They make both the Firestone and Goodyear tread paterns.

Re: COKER TIRES?
Much less traction and grip than a more modern tire. I used the Cokers for 15 years, went to a set of Duro HF302B last year; I would never go back except for a show bike.

Re: COKER TIRES?
I always used Cokers on my old bikes, They just look so good. but after going to modern tires on my 75 FLH I don`t think I would go back. I had some problems with the Firestones being round,at slow speed you could feel the front end up down up down.....

Re: COKER TIRES?
One thing to concider is ridgid or swingarm.. modern tires such as Dunlop and others have a much stiffer sidewall .. Ocorse your preference is the final decider but on a ridgid the cokers will give the best ride . as for milage they compare to speedgrips of the past. Ed

Re: COKER TIRES?
Thank-you for all the input!---Hes going with the Conti.--Front & rear,--Dunlops are on it now & 12,000+ change on the rear, Pretty Good!--He knows the Contis as he has ran them before, & between Avon & conti, My personal 2 favorites--We rack milage on em & they handle nice on a low -(scrape the floorboard turn)-in an emergency!--The conti hung in there!----Again Thank-you for your Help!---Wheels-up----Richie
