Original 60 Pan tires

#1

Post by lowlife »

What were the original size tires for a 60 Pan, and what whitewall did they have?
What brand tire should I buy?
What is the best source for buying them?

Thanks!

500-16, 1 inch wide whitewall, you can get a good reproduction from Coker Tire, and you can buy direct from them.

The 58-64 factory whitewall should be 1 3/4 inch wide.

True, but if you look at the Coker website they call their repop 1" and the wide Beck pattern 2". Just trying to steer the original question in the right direction.

Thanks Upsrod and Rubone. I'm going to see if I can get them at a local "Cycle Gear" shop. Do you have any recommendations for buying them over the internet?

I believe we have two "lowlife"'s here! I am not in the market for 60's Pan anything? Saw another post asking about a 60's Riders Manual too? When I click on the user name of this post it brings me up, heaven forbid that there are two of us, or that you are my alternate and very deep dark side!

Could it be a possible "Jeckel and Hyde"?
